Asset finance leads for UK brokers

Loanleaf asset finance leads are enquiries from UK limited companies and LLPs that chose "Equipment or vehicles" as the purpose of their funding, covering things like machinery, technology, vans and fleet.

  • Exclusive: each lead sold to one broker only
  • £15 to £250 per lead, priced by fundability
  • Delivered in real time to email, platform or CRM

Loanleaf asset finance leads are enquiries from UK limited companies and LLPs that chose "Equipment or vehicles" as the purpose of their funding, covering things like machinery, technology, vans and fleet. Every business has traded for at least 6 months with revenue of £50,000 or more, and each lead is sold to one broker only. Leads cost £15 to £250 in credits, priced by how fundable the request looks.

What Loanleaf asset finance leads are

An asset finance lead from Loanleaf is a business owner who has asked, in their own words and on their own initiative, for help funding equipment or vehicles. They completed the enquiry form on the Loanleaf website, picked a loan amount, chose "Equipment or vehicles" as the purpose and agreed to be contacted by a matched broker.

That purpose covers the kinds of purchases asset and equipment finance brokers work with every day: production machinery, technology, vans, and vehicles for a growing fleet. The business is a trading limited company or LLP, so you are speaking to a commercial borrower rather than a consumer.

Each lead is exclusive. Once you buy it, it disappears from the platform for everyone else and is never resold. You are not racing four other brokers to the same phone number.

Where the leads come from and how consent works

Every lead starts with a business owner finding Loanleaf through search, content or paid online advertising, including Meta, and filling in the enquiry form. There is no bought-in data, no scraped list and no cold contact.

Before submitting, the owner ticks two separate boxes. The first accepts the terms and privacy policy and confirms they understand Loanleaf is an introducer, not a lender or broker. The second consents to their details being shared with a matched broker who may contact them by phone, email or text about business finance.

The exact consent wording and the timestamp are recorded and supplied with every lead, along with the page the enquiry came from. You have a clear record of how and when the contact agreed to hear from you.

What the form tells you, and what it does not

The form filters out enquiries that rarely suit commercial asset finance before they ever reach you. Sole traders, ordinary partnerships and businesses not yet trading are turned away. The mobile number is checked as a valid UK mobile, the email domain is checked to confirm it can receive email, and repeat enquiries from the same phone or email within 90 days are not sold again.

Each lead you buy includes:

  • Loan amount, from £5,000 to £2m+
  • Purpose, in this case Equipment or vehicles
  • How soon they need the funds: as soon as possible, within 2 weeks, within a month, or just exploring options
  • Company structure (Ltd or LLP), annual revenue band and time trading band
  • Missed payments, defaults or CCJs in the last 6 years (no, yes or not sure)
  • Existing finance, with bands for the amount left to repay and monthly repayments
  • Name, business name, UK mobile and email, plus source page, timestamp, consent record and a quality score from 0 to 100

It is worth being clear about the gaps. The form does not ask what the asset is, whether it is new or used, who the supplier is, or the asset value separately from the loan amount. It also does not ask about sector, director names or bank statements. You confirm all of these on the first call, which is usually where an asset finance conversation starts anyway.

How these leads fit hire purchase, finance lease and asset refinance

A business asking to fund equipment or vehicles could end up on several different products, and the right one depends on details you gather once you are speaking to them. The lead gives you a trading company, a budget, a timeline and a credit picture. The structure is yours to work out.

Hire purchase leads are the obvious fit when the owner wants to own the asset at the end of the term, such as a van, a piece of plant or a production machine. A finance lease may suit a business that would rather spread the cost of technology or equipment it expects to replace. The form does not ask which they prefer, so the first call is where you find out.

Asset refinance works the other way round, releasing funds against equipment or vehicles a business already owns. Some owners looking at this will choose "Refinance existing debt" or "Cash flow" as their purpose rather than "Equipment or vehicles". If you place asset refinance, consider including those purposes in your criteria and asking about owned assets when you call.

The existing finance fields help here. A lead showing an outstanding balance and monthly repayments tells you the business already carries some debt, which shapes both the product and the conversation.

Setting criteria for equipment finance leads

Loanleaf Platform lets you filter live leads by the things that matter to your panel. You can buy one lead at a time in manual mode, or switch on auto-buy and let the platform buy matching leads the moment they arrive.

For equipment finance leads and vehicle finance leads for businesses, a sensible starting point is:

  • Purpose: Equipment or vehicles, plus Refinance existing debt if you place asset refinance
  • Loan size: a range that matches the assets you usually fund, for example smaller tickets for vans and single machines, larger for fleet or production lines
  • Revenue bands: the turnover your lenders are comfortable with for those ticket sizes
  • Time trading: exclude 6 to 12 months if your panel prefers more established businesses
  • Clean credit only: on or off, depending on your appetite

Auto-buy also takes limits: leads per day, credits per day, credits per month and a maximum number of credits per lead. If a matching lead costs more than your per-lead maximum, it is left for manual buying and you get an email alert. If several brokers match the same lead, a fair rotation decides who gets it.

In manual mode you can still ask for an email when a matching lead arrives, so you can review the summary and decide quickly.

How pricing works for asset finance leads

Leads are paid for in credits, where 1 credit equals £1 of lead value. Each lead costs between £15 and £250, set by a scoring model that looks at loan size, revenue, time trading, credit history and affordability, meaning whether the amount asked for is realistic for the business's revenue.

Many asset purchases sit at the smaller end of the loan range, and smaller sensible requests cost less. Examples from the live model:

  • £25k loan, £100k to £250k revenue, 1 to 2 years trading: 35 credits
  • £100k loan, £250k to £500k revenue, 2 to 5 years trading: 95 credits
  • £250k loan, £1m to £5m revenue, 5+ years trading: 165 credits

A long shot, such as a very large request from a young business with modest revenue, costs the minimum. You pay more for enquiries that look fundable and less for those that do not.

Credits come through a monthly subscription, with prices excluding VAT: Starter is £2,000 a month for 2,000 credits, Growth is £3,500 for 3,850 credits, Scale is £5,000 for 5,750 credits, and Custom plans start from £6,000. New partners can take a first month of 1,000 credits for £1,000 + VAT, then move to Starter. Unused credits roll over while you stay subscribed, and you can cancel any time. Full details are on the partners page.

Working the lead quickly

Bought leads are delivered instantly, so the business owner may still be thinking about their purchase when you call. Owners who chose "As soon as possible" or "Within 2 weeks" often have a quote or a supplier lined up, and speed matters most for them.

A useful first call covers the things the form leaves out:

  • What the asset is, and whether it is new or used
  • The supplier or dealer, and whether a quote or invoice exists
  • The asset value, any deposit or part exchange, and how that relates to the loan amount they selected
  • Whether they want to own the asset at the end of the term
  • The sector, the directors and what documents they can provide

If the asset and the numbers suit hire purchase or a lease, you can move straight on to an application. If the need turns out to be broader, the same lead may suit other commercial products. Our pages on business loan leads and commercial finance leads cover those wider enquiries.

Cash flow leads and invoice finance

If you also place invoice finance, leads with "Cash flow" as the purpose can be worth a look. A business with steady revenue that needs working capital may be a candidate for invoice finance leads as well as short-term lending.

The form does not ask whether the business invoices other companies or what its debtor book looks like, so this is something to establish on the call. Add Cash flow to your purposes only if you are comfortable qualifying that from scratch.

Delivery, CRM and pipeline

Every lead you buy arrives on the platform and by email at the same moment. You can also send leads to your CRM by webhook (JSON), which works with Zapier, Make, HubSpot, Pipedrive and any CRM that accepts webhooks.

If you do not use a CRM, the platform has a simple pipeline with New, Contacted, Application, Funded and Lost stages, notes on each lead, and CSV export.

Refunds are available within 72 hours of purchase only if the phone number is not in service or belongs to someone else, or if the email address does not exist. There are no refunds for any other reason, which is why the summary shows the valid UK mobile and domain verified checks before you buy.

Questions

Do asset finance leads tell me what the business wants to buy?
No. The lead shows the purpose as Equipment or vehicles, along with the loan amount, timeline, revenue, trading time and credit history. The form does not ask what the asset is, whether it is new or used, the supplier or the asset value, so you confirm those on the first call.
Is the loan amount the same as the asset value?
Not necessarily. The owner picks a loan amount, and the form does not ask for the asset value separately. A deposit, part exchange or VAT treatment could mean the two figures differ, so it is worth checking early in the conversation.
Are these leads suitable for hire purchase and finance lease?
They can be, since the business is a trading Ltd or LLP asking to fund equipment or vehicles. Whether hire purchase, a finance lease or another product fits depends on the asset and what the owner wants at the end of the term, which you establish when you call.
Can I get leads for asset refinance?
There is no separate asset refinance purpose on the form. Owners looking to release funds against assets they own may choose Refinance existing debt or Cash flow, so include those purposes in your criteria if you place this kind of deal and ask about owned assets on the call.
How much does an equipment finance lead cost?
Each lead costs £15 to £250 in credits, depending on loan size, revenue, time trading, credit history and affordability. Smaller, realistic requests cost less: a £25k loan from a business with £100k to £250k revenue and 1 to 2 years trading is 35 credits in the live model.
Will other brokers call the same business?
No. Each lead is sold to one broker only. Once you buy it, it is removed from the platform for everyone else and never resold.
Can I set auto-buy to only take vehicle and equipment enquiries?
Yes. Set the purpose to Equipment or vehicles, then add your loan size range, revenue bands, time trading and clean credit preference. Daily and monthly limits, plus a maximum price per lead, keep your spend under control.
