Loanleaf merchant cash advance leads are exclusive enquiries from UK limited companies and LLPs that asked for business finance on the Loanleaf website, often for cash flow and often with an urgent timeline. Each lead is sold to one broker only, priced from £15 to £250 in credits depending on how fundable it looks, and card revenue is confirmed by you on the first call.
What Loanleaf offers MCA brokers and revenue-based funders
A merchant cash advance lives or dies on speed. The owner usually needs money soon, the amount is modest, and the decision rests on trading performance. That makes the source of merchant cash advance leads for brokers, and how quickly they arrive, especially important.
Loanleaf is an introducer. Business owners find us through search, our own content and paid online advertising, including Meta, and complete an enquiry form that filters out businesses that do not fit commercial lending. We do not buy in data, scrape lists or pass on cold contacts. Every lead is someone who asked for finance in their own words, today.
This page explains which of those enquiries tend to suit a merchant cash advance, how to set up Loanleaf Platform so you only see the ones you want, and how to qualify them quickly on the first call. It also explains plainly what the form does not tell you, so you can judge whether MCA leads from Loanleaf fit your process.
Where the leads come from and who qualifies
Every enquiry is filtered on the form before it is submitted. Businesses that do not meet the basics are turned away at that point, so they never reach the platform and you never pay for them.
- UK limited companies and LLPs only. Sole traders, ordinary partnerships and businesses not yet trading are declined.
- At least 6 months trading and annual revenue of £50,000 or more.
- A loan amount chosen from £5,000 to £2m+.
- A valid UK mobile number and an email domain that can receive email, both checked on the form.
- No repeat sales: the same phone or email within 90 days is not sold again.
Before submitting, the owner ticks two separate boxes. One accepts the terms and privacy policy and confirms that Loanleaf is an introducer, not a lender or broker. The other consents to their details being shared with a matched broker who may contact them by phone, email or text about business finance. The exact wording and timestamp are recorded and supplied with the lead.
Which Loanleaf leads suit a merchant cash advance
Loanleaf does not run a separate MCA form. Instead, each lead carries enough detail for you to pick out the enquiries that look like a good merchant cash advance fit. In practice, MCA brokers tend to look for a combination of four signals.
- Purpose: Cash flow. This is the closest match to how most merchants use an advance. Stock and inventory, and Tax or VAT bill, can also be worth a look, depending on what you fund.
- Timeline: As soon as possible or Within 2 weeks. Owners with a short timeline often value speed over the lowest cost, which suits a product that can fund quickly.
- Smaller amounts. Asks at the lower end of the £5,000 to £2m+ range are closer to typical advance sizes and, under our pricing model, cost fewer credits.
- Credit history. Each lead shows whether there have been missed payments, defaults or CCJs in the last 6 years (No, Yes or Not sure). If your funders accept adverse credit, these leads can be useful precisely because mainstream lenders may have said no.
Revenue band and time trading also matter. A business with £250k to £500k revenue and 2 to 5 years trading reads differently from one at £50k to £100k and 6 to 12 months. You see both on the lead summary before you buy.
The honest limits: these are not pre-filtered MCA leads
The Loanleaf form does not ask about card takings, card machine turnover or how the business takes payment. That means we cannot tell you whether a cash flow enquiry comes from a café taking most of its revenue by card or a consultancy paid by bank transfer on 60 day terms.
You confirm card revenue, and therefore MCA suitability, on the first call. Some cash flow leads will turn out to be a better fit for a working capital loan, invoice finance or another product. If you or your panel can place those, the lead still has value. If you only write merchant cash advances, expect a share of cash flow enquiries not to fit and price that into how you buy.
The form also does not ask about sector, director names or bank statements. Those are first call questions too.
Setting up auto-buy for merchant cash advance leads
Loanleaf Platform lets you buy leads one at a time or switch on auto-buy, which purchases matching leads the moment they arrive. For MCA work, where speed to call matters, auto-buy is usually the better choice. If several brokers match the same lead, a fair rotation decides who gets it.
A typical MCA setup looks something like this, adjusted to what your funders accept:
- Purposes: Cash flow, plus Stock and inventory or Tax or VAT bill if they suit your products.
- Loan size range: a lower range that matches the advances you place, rather than the full £5,000 to £2m+.
- Revenue bands and time trading: the minimums your funders work to.
- Clean credit only: leave this off if you fund adverse credit, or switch it on if you do not.
- Daily caps: set leads per day and credits per day so you never buy more than your team can call quickly.
- Monthly cap and maximum credits per lead: keep spend predictable and stop any single lead costing more than you want to pay.
Leads that match your criteria but cost more than your per-lead maximum are not bought automatically. They stay available for manual buying and you get an email alert, so you can decide case by case. If you prefer manual mode, you can still get an email when a matching lead arrives, and the timeline shows on every lead summary so you can prioritise urgent ones.
What you see before you buy and what you get after
Before buying, you see a summary of every live lead: amount, purpose, timeline, revenue, time trading, credit history, existing finance and a quality score from 0 to 100. Contact details are masked, for example a***@b****.co.uk and +447*******90, with checks showing a valid UK mobile and a verified email domain.
Existing finance is worth reading closely for MCA. The lead shows whether the business already has finance and, if so, bands for the amount left to repay and the monthly repayments. That helps you spot a business that may already be stretched, or one that is looking to replace an existing advance.
When you buy, the business name and full contact details unlock and the lead is delivered instantly: on the platform, by email and to your CRM by webhook (JSON). The webhook works with Zapier, Make, HubSpot, Pipedrive and any CRM that accepts webhooks. Each lead is sold to one broker only. Once you buy it, it disappears for everyone else and is never resold.
Qualifying MCA leads on the first call
Because the form deliberately stops short of card data, the first call does the work of turning a cash flow enquiry into a merchant cash advance application. Many MCA brokers cover these points early:
- How the business takes payment, and roughly what share of revenue comes through card terminals or online payment providers.
- Monthly card turnover over recent months, and whether it is steady or seasonal.
- What the money is for and when it is needed, building on the purpose and timeline already on the lead.
- Any existing advances or daily repayments, checked against the existing finance bands you already have.
- Sector and trading address, since the form does not collect them.
- Whether bank or merchant statements can be shared, and how quickly.
If card revenue is low or irregular, the conversation can move to other products rather than ending. Recording the outcome in the platform pipeline (New, Contacted, Application, Funded, Lost) with notes keeps your team aligned, and CSV export lets you review which lead profiles convert best for you over time.
Pricing for typical MCA-sized leads
One credit equals £1 of lead value. Each lead costs between £15 and £250 in credits, set by a scoring model that looks at loan size, revenue, time trading, credit history and affordability, meaning whether the amount asked for is realistic for the business's revenue. A sensible ask from an established business costs more. A long shot costs the minimum.
Smaller asks generally cost less, which suits merchant cash advance work. For example, the live model prices a £25k request from a business with £100k to £250k revenue and 1 to 2 years trading at 35 credits. A £100k request from a business with £250k to £500k revenue and 2 to 5 years trading is 95 credits. At the other extreme, a £5m ask from a 6 to 12 month old business with £100k to £250k revenue costs 15 credits, because it is unlikely to fund as asked.
Credits come from a monthly plan, with prices excluding VAT:
- Starter: £2,000 a month for 2,000 credits.
- Growth: £3,500 a month for 3,850 credits (10% bonus).
- Scale: £5,000 a month for 5,750 credits (15% bonus).
- Custom: from £6,000 a month in £1,000 steps (15% bonus). Plans over 20,000 credits a month are arranged with the team.
New partners can start with a first month offer of £1,000 + VAT for 1,000 credits, then move to Starter at £2,000 + VAT a month. You can cancel any time. Upgrades take effect immediately and downgrades at renewal. Unused credits roll over while you stay subscribed and expire when the subscription ends.
Refunds, regulation and who Loanleaf is
Refunds are available within 72 hours of purchase if the phone number is not in service or belongs to someone else, or if the email address does not exist. There are no refunds for any other reason, including a lead that turns out not to have card revenue, so set your auto-buy criteria with that in mind.
